I run good!

Been playing tonnes online these last couple of weeks and as always, I've been playing a lot of PLO. I've been lucky to run so good whilst jumping up and down through the levels and I'm now at a point now where I have a sufficient online roll to play pretty decent games. Before this spin up started a few weeks back, I had intended on depositing €3,000 to Pokerstars to play. Instead, I spun €200 that someone owed me on Paddy Power up to around $1,000 and moved it over to Pokerstars where I have a new account. I can't remember the details but I clicked a three way all-in to get the roll going. I've been playing really well and have started branching into turbo SNG's as well. I've only played 90-odd but I feel that if I had the patience to play them all the time, I could record a nice profit. Just last night, I played 4 x $60 turbos and got 1st twice, a 2nd and a 3rd. Pretty sick run!

Here's a picture of my Pokertracker in just PLO:

And here's a screen capture of my results on Sharkscope. I've blacked out my screen name as I want to keep it private for the time being.

This week, I signed up to
Cardrunners.com and as I'm telling anyone that will listen, it's some of the best money I've spent. I payed by Pokerstars transfer of $250 and my account was activated really quickly. I've only watched about 5 or 6 videos so far and I found GreenPlastics' $10/$20 NLH video and Brian Townsends' $3/$6 NLH video to be excellent. They really discuss the hands well and express their thoughts perfectly.

I'm in two minds as the whether or not to play the €200 monthly freezeout in the Macau Sporting Club tonight. Last month got 43 runners which generated a decent prize pool. If I do go, I'll do an update tomorrow. I'm off to Dublin this weekend to hang out with friends that I haven't seen in a while. Should be plenty of drink and trouble-making involved!

hi flipper,

regarding cardrunners...do they do any STT related videos?...

ya, I watched ActionJeff playing a few mid to high limit SNG videos. Basically, he just plays unreal tight early and uses ICM calculations to decide all-in or fold in the later stages

forgive my ignorance....whats ICM calculations?

An ICM is basically a tool for finding your equity in different tournament situations. Here's an example: http://www.chillin411.com/resources.php

nice to hear your running well!! Keep it up! "jokerstars" can drive one mad but the new turbos they got is quite nice actually. But turbos sucks if one want to keep the ROI up.
Take care!
